The new 2015 Nissan Z will be much lighter, leaner, and appealing for the customers and main stream audience. The company is working on the concept version of the car. The new Z concept car will be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
Most probably, the lighter version of Z will certainly return improved gas mileage when compared with the current version. For 2013, 370Z returns 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highways. 370Z coupe has got a curb weight around 3,314 pounds.
The present generation 370Z hasn’t enjoyed success as 2002 350Z, which revived the reputation of Z car that is sold well in United States, Europe, and Japan. The next one will have a stronger impact than before.
According to Nakamura, the new 2015 Nissan 370Z is completely in its preliminary design phase. However, the main aim of the company is to produce a sleeker and lighter body when compared with the current version. We can see the new 2015 model with more carbon fiber or aluminum to get down the overall curb weight.
The Bottom Line
Regardless of its redesign, we can agree sincerely that a redesign is essential. New 370Z was a little bit of disappointment for most of the car enthusiasts. Thanks to Nissan to have recognized the issue and taken measures to fix it.
